Tiny Tot Classes:
Beginner class consisting of tap, ballet and tumbling. This class emphasizes beginner techniques, creative movement and flexibility. Student must be potty trained. There are two classes available: Wednesdays 10:00 am or 5:00 pm beginning July 14th..
Hip Hop Workshops
Street dance styles primarily danced to appropriate hip hop music or pop music. This class emcompasses skill building techniques that focus on breaking, popping, locking, drumping and some tumbling. Classes are available for ages 13 to adult. July 15th and 19th, August 4th, 12th, and 16th at 6:00 pm.
Baby Ballet
Beginner Ballet Classes for ages 5 - 8. This class emphasizes technique, flexibility and muscle strength. Students must be in leotard and tights with hair pulled into a bun. Class runs August 3rd - 5th at 5:30 pm.
Company Boot Camp
Participation in the Dance Company occurs by invitation only. The teaching staff determines these invitations based upon selective students who demonstrate the dedication, attitude and proficiency to represent the studio in outside performances / competitions. These are the students that choose to make dance their primary curricular activity. These are members of our performing Company. All Company members must complete at minimum, one of two weeks of intense Company Boot Camp. Class is offered the week of July 26th - 29th and August 16th - 19th at 6:00 pm.
Company Prep Class
In preparation for participation in the Company competitive class, it is strongly recommended that students who plan to audition for Company take this class to enhance one's technique, flexibility and skill set prior to autitioning or attending the Company Boot Camp. Prep classes are scheduled for July 20th - 22nd and August 10th - 12th.
Company Auditions will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 10:00 am.
